About

Our Practice

We’re more than accountants. We’re financial strategists.

We’re not just bean-counters filing tax returns. You’re hiring us because you need help tracking business finances, filing tax returns, navigating bankruptcy, handling mergers and managing the intricacies of divorce financials. You don’t have the time or the training to do it, but we do.

When you depend on us, we offer a high level of assistance, expertise and hand-holding. It’s a unique approach that’s uncommon amongst a number of accounting firms. We work with you to help achieve your financial goals. By interpreting what the numbers mean, we are able to make professional recommendations for both business and personal financial strategies that translate to positive changes now and in the future.

Whether you’re just starting out as a business owner or you want to take your business to the next level, we are your solution. What are your target goals for this year? Where do you see your business in 5 years? 10 years?

These are just a few of the questions we ask you at our first consultation, which is free. We want to do more than take care of your taxes and financial statements. We want to do more than fix what’s broken today. We have our sights set on your future success. We want to form a personal rapport with you and we want to support your business’ growth for decades to come.

We’re not limited by industry or location. Our clients come from an endless range of professions and are located around the globe. We’re a tech-savvy team, comfortable leveraging software and programs to make our working relationship with you smooth and efficient.

You tell us your goals. We help you get there.

Robert L. Coval, CPA, RIA

Concentration: Forensic Accounting | Business Services | Bankruptcy

Robert L. Coval graduated from Syracuse University in 1977 with a B.S. in Accounting. After working for big-name firms in the early stages of his accounting career, Bob Coval decided to strike out on his own in 1980 with the ultimate goal of building a proactive, responsive accounting firm. He wanted to control his own destiny as a self-employed professional, and he wanted to help other business owners control theirs.

He expanded his book of business by becoming highly sought after for forensic accounting, bankruptcy and business litigation support. Bob illustrates the inconsistencies and explains the irregularities in a sensible and straightforward manner. He can be relied upon as an expert court witness for both forensic accounting and bankruptcy matters and has appeared in United States Bankruptcy Court.

As a business owner himself, Bob knows how time-consuming it can be to track and analyze business finances with a mind for today and an eye on the future. With a willingness to roll up his sleeves and dedicate himself to hard work, Bob is the honest, experienced business accountant you can rely on to make the complex seem simple.

When Bob isn’t at work, you can find him with his family, watching New England sports, boating on Cape Cod or cheering on his alma mater’s sports teams.
